Mayonaise

I remember actually being embarrassed for the band when I heard lines like "The world is a vampire," or, even worse, "Emptiness is loneliness and loneliness is cleanliness and cleanliness is godliness and God is empty, just like me." Nigga, what? It was so stupid it pissed me off. The only thing worse than hearing Billy Corgan whine, "I used to be a little boy, something something in my shoes" were all those songs where the music screeches to a halt and you're left with just his voice -- it happens in "Frail and Bedazzled," which is actually a good song until that whole "Try to understand, the ones I love, blah blah blah blah" nonsense kicks in. And I can't be the only one who wanted to punch D'arcy in the head.

Still, I miss Smashing Pumpkins like a motherfucker.

D'arcy needed a beatdown. She annoyed on so many levels. Those tiny little pinpoints she called eyes bugged me especially.

Hated the Smashing Pumpkins. The only reason I remember them is because my friend bought tickets to see them at Madison Square Garden and had the shits so bad that he spent the whole time in the bathroom.
